Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, jazz and soul in the style that is his own. She has performed on Broadway as well as at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Though she lives in Atlanta, she originates from Chester Pennsylvania where she began her musical vocation by singing as well as playing the piano at the church. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical education began in Atlanta's R&B Scene. She took on the role of primary keyboardist at Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained attention throughout the four performances in 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
